Let me rewind a bit…
Before I built my own brand, I led marketing and social media for a veterinary hospital.
After one year, my videos were reaching hundreds of millions of views, and more and more new clients answered the ubiquitous “How did you hear about us?” with “Social Media!” Some clients even asked me to feature their pets on our accounts.
My experience working hands-on at a veterinary practice brought me closer to the pets, but also to the people. I connected with pet-parents on a deeper level, and brought their feedback directly into my social strategy. Simultaneously, I was managing viral content and engaging with pet-parents scrolling at home.
(Plus I got really good at that noise you make to get an animal to look at the camera.)
